Patrick Bice, Your Partner in Buying or Selling a Business
All businesses have multiple “value-driving forces” (i.e. value drivers) that potentially define their products and services. They are valuable assets and resources that need to be explored and discussed and frequently play a significant role in the value of the enterprise and its successful sale. They are part of the business' unique story that needs to be told. And Patrick Bice is an expert at learning and telling that story.
When your business is for sale, you need an expert storyteller. When you are buying a business, you want to know the WHOLE STORY of the business you are considering. Patrick Bice has served business owners and buyers and understands how to communicate all the information necessary to make a transaction successful for both parties.
Patrick Bice is a Certified Business Intermediary, which is the highest designation for main street business brokers. He is also a Business Certified Appraiser and a Senior Business Analyst. He takes the required interest and time to understand the owner’s business and how he can maximize its value.
My pledge is “Creating Exceptional Value For Business Owners” which is more than just a canned slogan or tag line but a personal and professional commitment.
Patrick Bice, the Early Years
Growing up on the Southern Oregon Coast with a family that owned multiple businesses, Patrick Bice had his first job at age 12, working in his family’s restaurants. He developed a respect for main street business ownership and the sometimes challenging work involved.
Since that time, Patrick has been an operating owner/partner in three successful businesses; two were start-ups. He graduated from Oregon State University in the School of Business and Education with additional graduate studies. Upon graduation, he was a high school and community college accounting and marketing teacher for three years, an experience that changed his life.
Currently, Patrick Bice is an advisory program member in the hospitality program at Lane Community College and a member of the policy committee with the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association. He has also been a guest speaker with local professional business groups on valuing and purchasing main street businesses and is a member of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Patrick has practical experience working with community banks on creating appraisals for Small Business Administration loans.
